Christopher Paolini in conversation

11 March, 2019 @ 6:30 pm

Christopher Paolini, bestselling author of Eragon, will be in Manchester to discuss his new collection of stories based in the world of the Inheritance Cycle: The Fork, The Witch, and the Worm.

A wanderer and a cursed child. Spells and magic. And dragons, of course. Welcome back to the world of Alagaësia.

Paolini’s latest volume features three original stories set in the world of Alagaësia, interspersed with scenes from Eragon’s own unfolding adventure. It includes an excerpt from the memoir of the unforgettable witch and fortune-teller Angela the herbalist, penned by the real-life inspiration for the character, Angela Paolini herself! Set shortly after the conclusion of the Inheritance Cycle, The Fork, The Witch, and the Worm  gives readers another chance to relish the incomparable imagination of Christopher Paolini, while revisiting  familiar characters and discovering tantalising new threads that leave the path open for future tales.

Christopher Paolini became a number one bestselling author at the age of nineteen, and spent the next decade immersed in the world of Alagaësia, following Eragon’s success with EldestBrisingr and Inheritance.

Please join us for what promises to be a fascinating evening of discussion from one of the most talented fantasy novelists working today.
